Dr Sowmya Bolla graduated from James Cook University in Cairns with the prestigious Henry Schein Prize for Clinical Excellence in Dentistry. She has spent most of her life in tropical North Queensland and has been serving the community through her work with Queensland Health. She joined Robelle Dental Centre and we are lucky to have now look after patients in private practice.
Sowmya’s enjoys restorative dental work and oral surgery. Her enthusiasm for dentistry has taken her to the far reaches of rural Queensland, including the bustling towns of Mount Isa and Thursday Island, during her university years and has volunteered her skills in the beautiful Solomon Islands, making smiles brighter one tooth at a time.
A perpetual student and keen learner, Sowmya continuously enhances her knowledge by attending Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. She’s always on the lookout for the latest dental techniques, ensuring her patients receive top-notch care.
When she’s not busy with dentistry, Sowmya loves spending quality time with her family, going on delightful walks with her dog, and exploring all the exciting adventures that Brisbane has to offer with her partner. Whether it’s finding hidden gems in the city or embarking on scenic hikes, Sowmya. embraces every opportunity to create lasting memories.
